Bury defender Keil O'Brien has joined Halifax on a loan deal until January in a bid to regain full match fitness.
The centre-half has made only one appearance since joining Bury from Chorley in June 2014 due to a troublesome knee injury.
Shakers boss David Flitcroft told the club's official website: "This loan will give Keil a fantastic opportunity to have a run of consecutive games after his recent injury setback.
"He has worked extremely hard to get his fitness levels back up and this loan move until January suits all parties."
