League One strugglers Bury have sacked manager Chris Lucketti after less than two months in the job.
The 46-year-old won just one of his 10 games in charge and leaves the club 12 points from safety at the bottom of League One.
His assistant Joe Parkinson has also been dismissed with Ryan Lowe and Ryan Kidd put in charge until the end of the season.
Former Bury defender Lucketti only took charge at Gigg Lane on November 22 and was given a two-and-a-half-year deal but, after eight consecutive defeats is the second Shakers manager to lose his job this season following Lee Clark's sacking in October.
A club statement read: "Following a run of very disappointing performances and results, the board have decided to terminate the contracts of manager Chris Lucketti and assistant manager Joe Parkinson with immediate effect.
"The desire to keep the club in League One is paramount and with 57 points still to play for the board feel that this is still achievable.
"The board would like to thank Chris and Joe for their hard work and wish them well in the future."
