Mathias Pogba, brother of Manchester United midfielder Paul, has had his contract with Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle terminated.
Pogba, 26, has been with the Jags since August 2015 when he signed from Crawley Town on a one-year deal with the option of a second. That option has now not been activated by the club, however.
The striker, who spent his youth career with Celta Vigo, started his career with French lower league club Quimper, before having spells with Wrexham, Crewe Alexandra, Pescara in Italy, Crawley and then Partick Thistle.
Thistle confirmed the news in a statement on Wednesday, announcing that Pogba had been released along with goalkeeper David Crawford.
Pogba leaves Firhill having made 36 appearances for Partick Thistle, scoring three goals. He has two international caps for Guinea.
