Aberdeen defender Callum Morris and St Johnstone’s Paul Paton have been called into the Northern Ireland squad to face San Marino and Germany, live on Sky Sports.
Morris was part of the international squad that travelled to the Czech Republic, but did not feature in the game in Prague, while Paton has two international caps and last represented the country in the friendly match against Wales at Cardiff City Stadium in March.
Both players will now join up with the squad ahead of their two World Cup qualifiers, with Michael O'Neill's side looking to build upon their 0-0 draw away at the Czech Republic in their opener.
Aaron Hughes has already been required to step in for the injured Craig Cathcart, while striker Will Grigg has been omitted from the squad due to personal reasons.
Ross County striker Liam Boyce is also unavailable to O'Neill because of a knee injury, meaning Kyle Lafferty, Conor Washington and Josh Magennis are the only three strikers in the squad.
