Livingston have been ordered to replay a game in the IRN-BRU Cup after fielding an ineligible player in their 2-1 win at Northern Irish side Crusaders.
Defender Alan Lithgow played the full 90 minutes of the match at Seaview Stadium on October 7 despite serving a Scottish FA suspension at the time.
A sub-committee of the SPFL's board charged Livingston with the offence on Monday and the club pled guilty to a breach of regulations.
As a result, the League One side were censured, fined £4,000 and ordered to replay the match with Crusaders at the same venue on November 1.
SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster said: "In the interests of sporting integrity and fairness to both sides, the game will be replayed."
