Scottish round-up: Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha starts with win

Pedro Caxinha got off to a perfect start as Rangers boss after a 4-0 win over Hamilton Academical at Ibrox.

Emerson Hyndman and Clint Hill gave the home side a two-goal lead at the break, while a Martyn Waghorn penalty and a goal from Lee Wallace sealed the rout.

The win keeps keep Rangers in third place while Hamilton slip to the bottom of the table.

Elsewhere, Aberdeen made it nine home wins in a row after a 2-0 victory over Hearts at Pittodrie.

Shaleum Logan gave the Dons the lead with a header from Niall McGinn's cross in the first half.

And Jonny Hayes sealed victory with a finish from close range to continue his side's impressive record which has seen them win 13 from their last 15 matches.

A round-up of all the weekend's action from the Scottish Premiership.

The result means Celtic will have to wait until next Sunday to clinch the Scottish Premiership title if they beat Hearts.

Conor Salmon scored three minutes from time to earn Kilmarnock a 1-1 draw with Partick Thistle.
