Moussa Dembele could be set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a suspected hamstring injury in Celtic's 2-0 Scottish Cup semi-final win over Rangers.
The Celtic forward went to ground in the 27th minute after successfully chasing the ball down and was immediately seen clutching his right hamstring.
Dembele received medical treatment on the pitch but managed to walk off unaided, with Leigh Griffiths coming on to replace him.
Speaking after the game, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers said: "That is a disappointment. We'll assess that once he's had his scan but it looks like he's done his hamstring."
With less than four weeks remaining in the Scottish Premiership season, the 20-year-old may struggle to feature again if Celtic's worst fears are confirmed.
He would also face a race against time to prove his fitness ahead of the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen on May 27.
Dembele has enjoyed a dream first season in Scotland, scoring 32 goals in 49 appearances for Celtic after joining the club on a free transfer from Fulham.
His goals have helped to power Celtic to their sixth straight league title and the Scottish League Cup.
