Aberdeen were unable to close the gap on Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic after being held to a 0-0 home draw by Hearts on Saturday.
The Dons probably deserved the three points, especially after a dominant second-half display, but were kept at bay by a Hearts side who have now gone nine games unbeaten. Hearts substitute Kyle Lafferty saw red late for a wild and cynical foul on Dons skipper Graeme Shinnie.
The draw sees Aberdeen remain eight points behind Celtic, who drew with Rangers earlier in the day.
Kris Boyd opened the scoring inside the first minute for Kilmarnock, but Oli Shaw's 23rd-minute equaliser earned fourth-placed Hibernian a 1-1 home draw.
Motherwell's miserable run of form continued at home to Hamilton, despite taking the lead through Craig Tanner after only three minutes.
Dougie Imrie equalised with a 41st-minute penalty and second-half strikes from Rakish Bingham and Greg Docherty earned the visitors a 3-1 win. Well have now taken just one point from their last seven games.
Bottom side Ross County also lost again, going down 2-0 at Partick Thistle after goals from Kris Doolan and Conor Sammon.
Dundee won 2-0 at 10-man St Johnstone, who had Richard Foster dismissed for a foul on Paul McGowan after only 22 minutes.
By that point, Dundee were already in front through Marcus Haber's third-minute goal, with Ajay Leitch-Smith adding a second in added time.
