David Moyes, Neil Lennon and Roy Keane among favourites to replace Ronny Deila at Celtic

BARCELONA, SPAIN - MAY 09: Head coach David Moyes of Real Sociedad directs his players during the La Liga match between FC Barcelona and Real Sociedad de

Celtic will be looking for a new manager this summer after it was announced Ronny Deila will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Deila has announced that he will leave the club in June and former boss Neil Lennon, who was replaced by the Norwegian in the summer of 2014, has already thrown his name into the mix, while former Celtic striker Charlie Nicholas thinks Roy Keane would be the ideal replacement.

But it's former Manchester United manager David Moyes who currently leads Sky Bet's next Celtic manager market.

Here we look at some of the potential contenders to take over at Celtic Park...

David Moyes

The Scot is the favourite with bookmakers to get the job - and is reportedly the board's number one candidate. He started his playing career at Celtic in 1980 but left for Cambridge three years later. However, it is as a manager he is best known, managing Preston before a nine-year stint at Everton, which was followed by an ill-fated 10-month reign at Manchester United after Sir Alex Ferguson retired. The 52-year-old has been out of work since November when a stint as boss of Real Sociedad ended after 364 days.

"Everybody knows my time at Celtic was great. I was a young player and played with great players at Celtic. Celtic's been a great love of mine. Who knows, who knows, I would never say never but obviously I've got ambitions to win things." (Moyes - March 2016)

Neil Lennon

The 44-year-old would have his supporters, having largely made a good impression in a four-year reign with the Hoops which ended less than two years ago. A former captain, he guided them to three Premier Leagues and two Scottish Cups, as well as successive appearances in the group stages of the Champions League. The Northern Irishman is available after an unsuccessful 17-month spell with struggling Bolton - and has admitted he would be interested in a return to Celtic Park.

"I've never hid my affinity for the club. Would I like to go back? If the opportunity arose and I had the opportunity to speak to the board, then absolutely." (Lennon - April 2016)

Roy Keane

Republic of Ireland assistant coach Roy Keane looks on

Self-confessed Celtic fan Keane ended his playing career with the club in 2006 but turned down the chance to succeed Lennon as boss because he did not feel they wanted him enough. He then led Sunderland from the bottom of the Championship to the top but failed to make an impression with them in the Premier League, before an anticipated promotion challenge at Ipswich failed to materialise and he left after less than two years in the job. Currently assistant to former Hoops boss Martin O'Neill with the Republic of Ireland.

"I was delighted. It was a massive compliment. Over the years, I had always said: "If you're offered the Celtic job, you don't turn it down". I was in a predicament ...and my gut feeling was saying: 'You're on your own with this one'. I rang Dermot Desmond on the Monday and said: 'I'm really honoured you offered me the job but I want to stay with Martin'." (Keane - October 2014)

Michael O'Neill

Sky Bet odds: 10/1

In February, Deila was unimpressed with rumours suggesting his replacement would be the 46-year-old former Brechin and Shamrock Rovers boss. O'Neill has impressed in leading Northern Ireland to their first European Championship - the first time in 30 years they have qualified for a major tournament - but that in itself could be an obstacle as his current focus is on Euro 2016, plus there are compensation issues with him currently serving a long contract with the Irish Football Association.

"Of course, the Euros will a shop window for coaches, as with the players. And by that point, contracts will be less significant. Should I leave the job I'm in, the Association will be compensated and I think the way the contract has been drawn up is fair in that respect to both parties." (O'Neill - March 2016)

Owen Coyle

Sky Bet odds: 16/1

Like Keane, Coyle is another to have turned down Celtic in the past. The 49-year-old opted to stay in England with Burnley when given the opportunity to replace Gordon Strachan in 2009. He was again one of the favourites to to take the role when Lennon left in 2014 but moved to America to take charge of Houston Dynamo in the MLS. He is currently in his second season with the Dynamos, but as another self-confessed Celtic fan, could he turn down his boyhood club again if they came calling?

"Glasgow Celtic are a global club, there's no doubt about that - and of course it's a marvellous job," he said. "Like anything else, the bookies' (odds) change very quickly. I don't think I was the favourite yesterday. I think people put two and two together. The bottom line is that it is well-documented that Celtic are my team and that will never ever change." (Coyle - May 2014)

Henrick Larsson

It's no surprise to see Larsson's name linked to the top job at Celtic. A fans favourite, the Swedish striker scored 242 goals for the club during  a seven-year spell in Galsgow. He was also linked with the job in 2014 but turned it down to stay in Sweden with Falkenbergs. The 44-year-old is currently in charge at another Swedish side in Helsinborgs.

"This is the club for me. This is where I made myself as a player, this is where everybody got to know me and this is the club that I will be eternally grateful to for giving me that opportunity when maybe other clubs didn't believe in me. This is where I got back into the Swedish national team an went on to play in European Championships and World Cups for Sweden. I couldn't have done that without Celtic." (Larsson - May 2008)
