New Celtic signing Kolo Toure shows his delight after being paraded for the first time by the Scottish champions on Monday!

New Celtic signing Kolo Toure has been the talk of Twitter after his unveiling in Glasgow on Monday.

Toure, 35, joined the Scottish Premier League champions on a free transfer from Liverpool on Sunday, with the experienced centre back signing a one-year deal at Celtic Park.

"I left a great club and I am joining a great club," Toure said at his introductory press conference. "I am looking forward to it.

"Celtic have a great history and for me, it is a privilege again to be able to play for one of the best clubs in the world.

"When I heard Celtic wanted me I was really, really happy and joining Brendan Rodgers was something really, really special as well."

However, when the club officially unveiled the Ivorian, he seemed a less than happy figure, a demeanour that has since attracted a fair amount of comment on social media.

Many have likened the player's appearance to that which Aaron Lennon displayed after joining Everton on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in February 2015, with comments such as: "Kolo Toure joins the ranks of bizarrely miserable signings" appearing on Twitter.

However, Celtic's fans can be reassured that Toure is generally renowned for his smiley outlook, making this surely a one-off!
