Mark Warburton says Rangers would never go into any fixture against a Scottish Premiership side with an inferiority complex.

The manager's comments followed his team's goalless draw against Kilmarnock at Ibrox on Saturday, in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.

Killie are currently battling the drop from the Scottish Premiership while Rangers hold a healthy lead at the top of the Scottish Championship - one tier below.

Asked if the Light Blues felt they were underdogs going into this weekend's drawn tie, Warburton said: "There was never any lack of confidence about playing a top-flight team.

"For the first 10 minutes we were a little bit slow out the blocks, didn't get on the ball early but then after that the last 25 minutes of the first half we were good.
