Rangers are interviewing candidates for their director of football vacancy this week.

The club currently has Graeme Murty in charge of first-team affairs at Ibrox in the wake of the departure of manager Mark Warburton, assistant David Weir and head of recruitment Frank McParland.

As part of their management reshuffle, Rangers are to appoint a director of football as well as source a replacement for Warburton, who departed Ibrox in confusing circumstances earlier this month.

Sky Sports News HQ understands the club would like to fill the director of football vacancy first, with Southampton director of recruitment Ross Wilson believed to be in the frame.

Brentford's head of recruitment Robert Rowan has also been linked with the role, but Sky Sports News HQ understand he is not currently under consideration.
