Kenny Miller's agent has launched a withering attack on Rangers in the wake of his prolonged omission from Pedro Caixinha's first-team squad.
The Rangers manager has not selected striker Miller since a series of dressing room leaks after last month's 2-0 defeat to rivals Celtic at Ibrox. He sat out the 4-1 win at Hamilton on September 29 after being ordered to report for duty with the club's U20s side for a game against Brentford.
Caixinha stated last week that Miller was still "one of ours" after apparently holding clear-the-air talks with the former Scotland international but the 37-year-old was again absent for Friday night's 3-0 win over St Johnstone.
Miller's representative Dave Baldwin has taken to social media to have his say on the matter, denying any suggestion Miller may have been the source of the leaks in the process, but Caixinha has insisted Miller missed Friday's win in Perth due to injury.
"The 'inferral' [sic] that this guy is anything other than one of the best 'professionals' of the last 20 years is a joke," Baldwin posted on Instagram on Tuesday morning.
"If @rangersfc have a 'leak,' 'rat' or a 'traitor' in the ranks then they should say who it is and deal with it rather than leave one man hung out to dry!!!
"To make those accusations and then leave Kenny out of the squad and not say a word is embarrassing...and then do it again! Looks pretty obvious to me where the leaks come from."
However, explaining Miller's absence against St Johnstone, the Portuguese told RangersTV: "Kenny was a question of precaution, he trained OK before the match and then did a sort of treatment on Friday and now he's four days further on so he is able to start training today [Tuesday].
"He pulled something in a finishing drill last week, something on the hamstring."
Rangers have welcomed Niko Kranjcar and Danny Wilson back into the squad following injury ahead of their Betfred Cup semi-final against Motherwell at Hampden this weekend.
"Niko and Danny will be with us from the start of this week, like Kenny, David Bates and Ryan Jack," Caixinha said. "They were more or less available to be with us but were out from the last game.
"We hope to have some news with Jordan Rossiter as well this week so things are going in the right direction to have the whole group together again.
"Niko and Danny now need rhythm, they are training on a daily basis and it was important for them to get minutes in order to get the rhythm and once they have that then they are fighting with the others.
"Lee Wallace is also progressing, he is the last one on the list but we know he is going to take time, probably between three or four weeks."
