Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has poured cold water on speculation reports linking him with the vacancy at Rangers.
Rangers parted company with manager Mark Warburton and two of his backroom staff last Friday, announcing their departure on the official website, and informing the Englishman of the news by email.
The Dons are hoping to stretch their lead to three points over third-place Rangers in the Scottish Premiership with a win over Motherwell on Wednesday.
And as McInnes prepares his side for the Pittodrie clash, he insists his focus is on Aberdeen, who are aiming to finish runners-up in the league behind Celtic for a third successive year.
McInnes said: "I've never been one to speak about speculation and my focus is totally on Aberdeen and the game against Motherwell.
"Rangers are a strong club and will always attract people but all I'm interested in is Aberdeen."
The Ibrox club have indicated they are considering appointing an interim manager until the end of the season.
Graeme Murty, who was given the go-ahead on Saturday to take charge of the team for the Scottish Cup tie with Morton the following day, is likely to be in charge for this weekend's match with Dundee at Dens Park.
