Hibernian manager Neil Lennon says he expected an SFA charge after being sent off at the weekend but is still unhappy with his dismissal.

Hibernian head coach Neil Lennon has been charged by the SFA with misconduct and criticising officials during Saturday’s game at Kilmarnock.

Lennon was sent to the stands by referee Kevin Clancy shortly after Kris Boyd scored from the rebound to earn the home side a 2-2 draw following a contested 61st-minute penalty, awarded for a Ryan Porteous handball.

Former Celtic and Bolton boss Lennon sarcastically applauded Clancy's decision to award the penalty, describing it as "Mickey Mouse stuff" in his post-match interview.

Hibs had taken a two-goal lead following goals from Florian Kamberi and Porteous in the opening nine minutes.

Jordan Jones then pulled a goal back with a stunning effort before the drama that led to Killie equalising and Lennon being sent from the dugout.
