Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has joined Hibernian on a season-long loan.

The 30-year-old has been training with the squad at the clubs' East Lothian training base and will provide competition and cover for the injured Ofir Marciano.

Bogdan made 120 appearances across all competitions for Bolton Wanderers between 2007 and 2015, and was named Player of the Year in 2012, before joining Liverpool on a free transfer in June 2015.

The Hungarian international was rarely used at Liverpool, appearing just six times before a loan spell at Wigan Athletic in the 2016/17 season.

He suffered an ACL tear in November 2016 during a game against Barnsley and has failed to appear in a competitive game since.
