Lyon striker Bryan Bergougnoux has sealed a move to Toulouse.

Lyon striker Bryan Bergougnoux has sealed a move to Toulouse.

The 22-year-old was under contract for another two seasons at Stade Gerland but has accepted the move in order to obtain regular first team football.

A four-year deal was signed with TFC who splashed out ‚é¼3 million to secure his services.

Speculation continues that Bergougnoux will not be the only player heading for the exit door at Lyon.

Michael Essien and Mahamadou Diarra remain on the wanted list of some of Europe's biggest clubs and, despite chairman Jean-Michel Aulas consistently stressing he is in no mood to sell either midfielder, major offers are expected for the pair.

Diarra's agent has hinted that there could be developments regarding his client this week with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Internazionale and Juventus all admirers of the Mali-born star.

Essien remains a top target for Chelsea and the latest reports claim the wealthy West Londoners are mulling over a massive ‚é¼30 million bid for the Ghanaian.
