Kevin Gameiro scored a hat-trick as Sevilla bounced back from their defeat to Manchester City with a 5-0 win over Getafe in La Liga on Saturday.

The French forward hit a first-half brace to put the hosts well in control and completed his hat-trick with a penalty.

Ever Banega and Yevhen Konoplyanka also netted spot-kicks, the Ukrainian completing the visitors' humiliation after Carlos Vigaray was dismissed.

The win sees Sevilla climb up to ninth in La Liga.

Granada temporarily moved off the bottom of the table after drawing 1-1 at home to fellow Andalusians Real Betis.

Dimitri Foulquier gave the hosts the lead after just two minutes by pouncing on an error by Betis defender Heiko Westermann, but Ruben Castro saved his team-mate's blushes by levelling from the penalty spot later in the first half.

Betis climb up to ninth spot thanks to the point, while Granada go up to 18th, a point ahead of Levante and Las Palmas, but are still without a win since August.
