Levante striker Deyverson thought he was about to equalise against Real Betis in the early stages of Friday's La Liga clash.

But after the ball came back off the post and fell at his feet, what happened next took everyone by surprise as he saw his own effort strike the woodwork despite being only six yards out and in front of an open goal.
