La Liga have confirmed Deportivo's fixture against Real Betis scheduled for Friday evening has been postponed due to safety fears after adverse weather in La Coruna.

Heavy rain and strong winds with gusts up to 75mph damaged the roof at Estadio Riazor, where Deportivo La Coruna play their home matches.

With the weather unlikely to improve before Friday's 7.45pm kick-off, a decision was taken to postpone the match.
