Jese Rodriguez misses an open goal on debut for Las Palmas

Jese Rodriguez had a nightmare debut for Las Palmas as he missed a sitter that cost them a point at Granada in La Liga.

Introduced as a substitute in the second half, the Spanish midfielder, who is on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, somehow contrived to miss a glorious opportunity at the far post, skewing his effort away from an open goal.

Granada had taken the lead in the first half thanks to a stunning strike from Manchester United loanee Andreas Pereira, and held on for a 1-0 lead on Monday night.

Jese had switched to PSG from Real Madrid in the summer, but struggled to break into Unai Emery's side in Ligue 1 and completed a loan move to Las Palmas for the rest of the season on transfer deadline day.
