As a player, Neville was a one-club man with Manchester United and capped 85 times by England before joining their coaching staff under Roy Hodgson.

Gary Neville has been appointed the new head coach of Valencia until the end of the season.

May 1992 - Captains Manchester United to the FA Youth Cup, their first win in 28 years

Sep 1992 - Makes his first-team debut against Torpedo Moscow in the UEFA Cup

Nov 2005 - Named as Manchester United club captain following Roy Keane's departure
