Luis Enrique hopes Barcelona's best form is still to come after a 4-0 win over Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Neymar scored twice at the Nou Camp, while goals from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez wrapped up a convincing victory as Barca maintained their four-point gap ahead of Atletico Madrid.
Last season, the trio hit a Spanish record 122 goals as Barca won the treble and now they have 125 - and counting - this calendar year.
But Enrique says he saw Barcelona play better during their treble-winning campaign last season, and has reminded his players no team wins the league in December.
He said: "I don't have the feeling that we're in our best moment. I think we played better last season. We are playing to a very high level and that is what interests me.
"I hope our best moment is still to come. That we are playing well and that the team is enjoying themselves is undeniable. But nobody wins the league in December.
"We have an important month coming up, with big games in the league, the Club World Cup and the Copa [del Rey].
"Everyone will drop points between now and the end of the season. We have to take it game by game."
Barcelona face Villanovense in the Copa del Rey round of 32 on Wednesday, before trips to Valencia in La Liga and then Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
