Barcelona's £22m bid for Paulinho from Guangzhou Evergrande rejected

Barcelona's bid to purchase Paulinho from Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande has been rejected.

The Chinese Super League side have issued a statement saying they have turned down an offer of £22m for their 28-year-old midfielder.

Paulinho, who spent two years at Tottenham, signed a new extended deal with Guangzhou Evergrande in January of this year.
