Andres Iniesta and Philippe Coutinho are used to being mobbed by Barcelona fans - but could hypnosis make the stars unrecognisable?

Andres Iniesta and Philippe Coutinho are used to being mobbed by Barcelona fans - but a hypnotist made some of the world's most recognisable players.... unrecognisable.

The Barcelona pair send defenders dizzy on a regular basis, but it was their turn to look on in disbelief as hypnotist Jeff Toussaint put some of the most loyal superfans 'Under The Spell'.

Three supporters were ushered into the players' dressing room at the Barcelona training ground where they expected to meet their heroes, only for Toussaint to get to them first.

He used various forms of hypnosis and relaxation techniques to put them into a deep sleep while Iniesta, Coutinho, Paulinho, Ivan Rakitic and Marc Ter Stegen entered the room - along with an impostor.

But the Barcelona stars were just as surprised as the fans awoken from their slumber, as Toussaint's tricks of the mind led them to respond in an entirely unexpected way.

"It's not just the players that have the power to influence the outcome of the game," said Toussaint. "Nowadays, the fans also play a major role which is why it is important to work with and reward the fans as well."

Watch the above video to find out how an 'impostor' got a bigger reaction than some of Barcelona's biggest stars!
