Barcelona have confirmed that left-back Jordi Alba could be out for two weeks, ruling him out of the European Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup matches.
Alba injured his right leg during Barcelona's 3-0 win over Roma in their pre-season game at the Nou Camp on Wednesday.
Barcelona face Seville in the European Super Cup in Tbilisi, Georgia on August 11 before tackling Athletic Bilbao over two legs in the Spanish Super Cup on August 14 and 17.
Barca then travel to Bilbao for their opening La Liga game on August 23.
Adriano is expected to take Alba's place.
Barcelona are playing in both Super Cups after winning the Champions League, Spanish League and Copa del Rey last season.
