Gareth Bale has returned to full training with Real Madrid after six weeks out with a calf injury.

The world's most expensive footballer has not played since suffering a calf injury during a 5-1 defeat of Sporting Gijon in January.

But he tweeted a picture of himself and Cristiano Ronaldo at training on Tuesday, accompanied by a message reading: "Feels good to be back."

Zinedine Zidane's side have failed to win half the six games played since Bale's injury and play a seventh without the Wales star at Levante on Wednesday.

A weekend defeat to city rivals Atletico left Real in third, 12 points behind leaders Barcelona, and prompted Ronaldo to say afterwards: "If we were all at my level, maybe we would be leaders."
