Zinedine Zidane brushes off Kylian Mbappe link with Real Madrid

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has brushed off speculation his side want to sign Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe.

The France international has set Ligue 1 and the Champions League alight this season with 19 goals in those competitions, including three across two legs against Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals of Europe's elite club competition.

Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague understands Mbappe has received "huge offers" to leave Monaco, with Real one of several clubs interested.

But speaking ahead of Real's La Liga clash with Granada, live on Sky Sports on Saturday, head coach Zidane said he is not thinking about transfers.

He told realmadrid.com: "(Mbappe) is having an exceptional season and so of course people are starting to talk for talking's sake. I only focus on the players I already have at my disposal - and that's it.

"It's not good to talk about players that you don't coach."

Reports in Italy on Tuesday claimed Monaco had turned down a £72m bid from Manchester United for Mbappe.
