Kevin Gameiro has completed a £27m switch to Atletico Madrid from Sevilla, with Luciano Vietto moving the other way on loan.
The 29-year-old, who has joined the club on a four-year-deal, is due to travel to Madrid on Saturday night to undergo a medical.
Sevilla meanwhile are set to replace him with France U21 star Ben Yedder, who is on his way from French club Toulouse for a medical.
Atletico finished third in La Liga last season, with Sevilla finishing in seventh. Gameiro has been a key player for the Andalucians since joining in 2013 from Paris Saint-Germain, scoring a total of 67 goals in three seasons and being present for three consecutive Europa League wins.
Gameiro made his debut with Racing Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1 in 2005 and later joined FC Lorient in 2008, staying for three seasons before his move to PSG in 2011.
The announcement was made on Atletico's website in a statement which read: "The club wishes him the best in this new professional stage as an Atletico. #WelcomeGameiro!"
