Juventus interested in hiring former Tottenham scout David Webb

Juventus

Juventus are interested in hiring former Tottenham scout David Webb to their recruitment team, according to sources in Italy.

Webb left his position as Spurs' head of elite potential identification in February around the same time his boss - head of recruitment Paul Mitchell - also exited the club.

Webb helped Mitchell set up the scouting processes that led Spurs to sign the likes of Heung-Min Son and Kieran Trippier.

A number of clubs in England are also interested in hiring Webb, who was previously Bournemouth's head of recruitment.

He helped Eddie Howe build the team that got them promoted to the Premier League before switching to White Hart Lane in 2015.
