Hungarian attacking midfielder Vladimir Koman has sealed a switch from Sampdoria to Monaco.
The 22-year-old, whose contract with the Serie B side was due to expire in May, has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the French outfit, who are attempting to bounce back to the top flight at the first attempt.
Koman was born in Ukraine but moved to Hungary as a youngster and broke into the senior Hungary national side in 2010.
Previously, he won the Silver Boot at the Under-20 World Cup in 2009 after scoring five times.
The versatile midfielder, who is mainly at home in the middle of the park although he can also play on the left, likes to dictate play and has an excellent passing range.
He takes a lot of set-pieces and is also good at breaking into the area and finishing off a move.
