Hiddink won't rule out Inter

Guus Hiddink would consider taking charge of Inter Milan if the Italian club can reach an agreement with Turkey.

Agent insists an agreement must be reached with Turkey first

Guus Hiddink's agent has admitted the Dutchman would consider taking charge of Inter Milan, but only if the Italian club can reach an agreement with Turkey. Hiddink has emerged as a possible candidate to succeed Leonardo, who is expected to leave his role as head coach of Inter to become sporting director at Paris St Germain. However, Hiddink remains under contract with the Turkish Football Federation and is not prepared to discuss a deal with Inter at the current time. "We have never spoken to (Inter president Massimo) Moratti," Hiddink's representative, Cees van Nieuwenhuizen, told Gazzetta dello Sport. "Hiddink has a contract with the Turkish federation and therefore before any talks can begin, Moratti must contact the (Turkish) federation and say he is interested in Guus. "He is contracted until 2012 so, for the time being, there is no possibility that he can coach Inter. "If Inter reached an agreement with Turkey? Well at that point Hiddink would certainly evaluate the Nerazzurri offer but he is a professional and he has never broken a contract in his whole career."

Frustrated

Hiddink has also been linked with a move back to Chelsea, where he enjoyed a successful spell as caretaker manager in 2009. He was the favourite to replace Carlo Ancelotti before the Blues reportedly targeted Porto's Andre Villas-Boas, but fresh reports now suggest he could still return as a director. Inter, meanwhile, must decide whether to step up their interest in Hiddink and contact the Turkish Football federation. The Serie A club have been frustrated in their initial attempts to find a successor for Leonardo, with Argentine tactician Marcelo Bielsa pulling out of the race and England boss Fabio Capello and Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic dismissing speculation regarding the role.
