DIDA WILL MAKE MILAN MOVE

AC MILAN will see the arrival of Brazilian goalkeeper Dida from his long term loan at Corinthians - after the custodian received his Portuguese passport and EU status.

Dida had been waiting for confirmation that he would receive the Portuguese national status before completing a move to AC Milan - who could not afford to have another non-European Union player on their books and were prepared to wait for the international.

Milan already have Croatian Zvonimir Boban, Brazilian Serginho and prolific Ukrainian Andrei Shevchenko who count as non-EU players, and the rules stop more than three 'foreigners' appearing in the match-day squad at the same time, with a limit of five allowed at the club.

Milan are set to lose the services of Sebastiano Rossi, who angered General Manager Adriano Galliani with his dressing room criticism of coach Alberto Zaccheroni, and was subsequently transfer listed - leaving just talented youngster Christian Abbiati as a first team goalkeeper.
