Pep Guardiola has played down speculation that he will definitely leave Bayern Munich in 2016, but says he is still undecided on his future.

Widespread reports have suggested Guardiola is set for a move to Manchester City when his current deal expires in 2016.

Former Bayern midfielder Stefan Effenberg stated he was "pretty certain" Guardiola would leave at the end of the season but the Spaniard remains tight-lipped over his future, saying he is far from making a definitive decision.

"This is the first and the last time that I will talk about it," Guardiola said. "I am coach of Bayern.

"I am grateful to be here. I have not yet decided what the best thing for the club is, but I am doing my best and I will do my best.

"I have not decided yet. Maybe Effenberg, who was a great legend for Bayern, knows more about it than me, maybe I should give him a call.

I've not received an offer from any other club in the world. I'm very happy here.

"When the moment comes that I do make up my mind, then I will inform [chairman] Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, [former president] Uli Hoeness and [director of sport] Matthias Sammer.

"I've read lots of things lately, but all I care about is the good of this club. I will never become a burden for Bayern."
