Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra is back in training after being injured in a bomb attack

Marc Bartra has returned to full training after being injured in a bomb attack on Borussia Dortmund's team bus in April.

Bartra and a police officer were injured in the triple blasts as the players and coaching staff left a hotel ahead of their Champions League match against Monaco in Germany on April 11.

Defender Bartra was hit by shrapnel as the explosions hit the coach and required surgery on a broken bone in his wrist, ruling him out for four weeks.

Bartra, a Spain international, this week posted videos on social media showing he had stepped up his recovery with individual training sessions but he has now joined full sessions with the first-team squad.

Dortmund did not name Bartra in their squad for the 2-1 win over Hoffenheim last weekend, and it remains to be seen whether the player will feature in the Bundesliga side's final two games of the league campaign.
