Agent reaffirms Zlatan stance
The Roman giants have been making all the right noises concerning a possible summer swoop for the talented Swedish international.
However, Fabio Capello`s side will not be playing Champions League football next term, whereas Ajax probably will, and that could be a deciding factor.
Ibrahimovic`s agent Anders Carlsson said: "Zlatan is very happy in Amsterdam. He has got his breakthrough in Dutch football and the Champions League.
"With all certainty, Ajax will be playing in the Champions League next season, too. There is no need for Zlatan to change club."
All the talk surrounding the Swedish striker has been about a joint-ownership deal involving Ajax and Roma, but Carlsson recently rubbished this and has now said the pair have no plans to travel to Italy to thrash out terms.
"There is no game going on with Roma behind the scenes," he told Expressen. "Zlatan and I have not planned any meeting with Roma and we have definitely no rooms booked in Rome."
The Swede is a popular figure for the media, and recent articles suggested he had been involved in an altercation in a bar.
Carlsson, though, has rubbished the reports, saying: "Zlatan has not been involved in any incident at any bar. Neither has he been arrested by the police nor behaved drunk.
"Everyone who knows Zlatan knows that he does not drink alcohol."
