Feyenoord have loaned out defensive midfielder Karim El Ahmadi to Dubai-based club Al Ahli.

Feyenoord have loaned out defensive midfielder Karim El Ahmadi to Dubai-based club Al Ahli.
The 25-year-old has joined the club until the end of the season, while the United Arab Emirates outfit also have the option to sign him permanently.
El Ahmadi is contracted at Feyenoord until summer 2012 and has been a first-team regular for the Eredivisie club so far this season.
However, financially-stricken Feyenoord chose to loan him out in order to boost funds needed to sign a new striker.
The midfielder arrived at the Rotterdam side from boyhood club FC Twente for €5million (£4.3m) in 2008.
El Ahmadi is Holland-born but has Moroccan roots and represents the Morocco national side.
