Arsenal, Leicester and Manchester City will find out who they will face in the last 16 of the Champions League in Monday's draw - but following confirmation of their group stage finishing positions, the possible opponents have emerged.

As Group A winners, Arsenal - like Group G table-toppers Leicester - will play a team which has finished second in their respective group. They cannot play the runners-up from their own group, Paris Saint-Germain, and they cannot play a team from their own country, meaning Man City will be avoided.

After last Wednesday's conclusion to the group stages, the confirmed runners-up that Arsenal could face are Benfica, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Real Madrid, Porto and Sevilla.

Charlie Nicholas thinks Arsenal have the strength in depth to go beyond the Champions League last sixteen this season

"Come Monday, who knows with the luck Arsenal tend to get in this draw," said Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas when asked about the Gunners' potential opponents. "We know the dangers. They can't get PSG again and they can't get Manchester City but they could be staring down the barrel of Bayern Munich. That would be the difficult one."

Leicester could face PSG or any of the above, except Group G rivals Porto.

"Whoever gets Leicester won't want to play them because they will cause teams problems with the way they play," Sky Sports pundit Tony Cottee said. "In the Champions League they have played well but because of the standard of the group we don't know how good or bad that makes Leicester. If they get a top team then we will see."

Man City, meanwhile, will face a group winner in the last 16 after finishing second to Barcelona in Group C.

The confirmed group winners they could face are Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Monaco, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus, as a meeting with Leicester or Arsenal is not possible.

"City probably would like to get Napoli out of that lot and they will probably want to avoid Atletico Madrid," said Sky Sports' Matt Le Tissier. "I think they are a tough cookie to get past but there are some decent teams there, they aren't the only ones."
