When is the Europa League semi-final draw?

As the race to Basel continues, here is everything you need to know about the Europa League semi-final draw.

When/where is the draw?

Friday, April 15 in Nyon, Switzerland. The draw will get underway at 11:30am, shortly after the conclusion of the Champions League semi-final draw.

Restrictions

As with the quarter-final, the draw has no restrictions, meaning teams from any country can be drawn against each other. The team drawn first will play the first leg of the tie at home.

Home team in the final

An additional draw will take place in Nyon on Friday, to determine the home team for the final in May. Solely for 'administrative purposes', it will be decided whether the winner of semi-final 1 or the winner of semi-final 2 are the home team in Basel.
