Europa League round-up: Napoli hit five past Club Brugge

Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens struck twice as Napoli made a flying start to their Europa League campaign by thrashing Club Brugge 5-0 at Stadio San Paolo.

Callejon opened the scoring after just five minutes and Mertens scored his two goals to make it 3-0 inside 25 one-sided minutes.

Marek Hamsik added a fourth early in the second half and Callejon completed the Group D rout 13 minutes from time.

Morten Rasmussen struck as Midtjylland beat Legia Warsaw 1-0 in the other match in the group, in which the Poles had Dominik Furman sent off.

Park Joo-ho headed a last-gasp winner as Borussia Dortmund came from behind to beat Krasnodar 2-1 in Group C.

Pavel Mamaev gave the Russians an early lead at Signal Iduna Park but Matthias Ginter levelled before the break and then set up Park's stoppage-time winner after the Germans dominated the second period.

Elsewhere in the group, Qabala drew 0-0 with PAOK Salonika.

Marseille began their Group F campaign with a 3-0 win at Groningen thanks to goals from Georges-Kevin N'Koudou, Lucas Ocampos and Romain Alessandrini while Braga won 1-0 at Slovan Liberec.

Rapid Vienna beat Villarreal 2-1 in Group E and Viktoria Plzen overcame Dinamo Minsk 2-0.

In Group A, Molde survived the late sending off of Mohamed Elyounoussi and a barrage of Fenerbahce chances to claim a 3-1 win in Istanbul.

Tommy Hoiland's penalty was cancelled out by Nani late in the first half but Molde hit back again after the break with goals from Elyounoussi and Martin Linnes.

Elsewhere in the group, Ajax twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Celtic in Amsterdam.

Sion beat Rubin Kazan 2-1 in Group B with a double from Moussa Konate, while substitute Jussie scored a late equaliser as Bordeaux drew 1-1 with Liverpool.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar maintained his impressive scoring record for Schalke in Europe with two goals in the German side's 3-0 win at APOEL Nicosia in Group K.

Joel Matip was also on target while the Cypriot side had Tomas De Vincenti sent off late on.

Asteras Tripolis and Sparta Prague played out a 1-1 draw in Greece as Pablo Mazza's early goal for the hosts was cancelled out by David Lafata.

Last season's finalists Dnipro scored a 94th-minute equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw and prevent Lazio beginning their Europa League campaign with an impressive away victory.

In the group's other clash Nolan Roux hit a 87th minute equaliser from the penalty spot for St Etienne against Rosenborg.

New signing Son Heung-min scored a quickfire double to lead a Tottenham fightback against Azerbaijan champions Qarabag at White Hart Lane.

Qarabag struck early through Richard Almeida's penalty but Son responded with two goals in as many minutes around the half-hour mark and Erik Lamela secured a 3-1 win in Group J four minutes from time.

Group rivals Monaco equalised in the 85th minute through Lacina Traore to snatch a 1-1 draw at Anderlecht.

The Belgians had led since Guillaume Gillet scored in the 11th minute.

In Group H there was a shock as Sporting suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Lokomotiv Moscow, while Besiktas were 1-0 winners away at Skenderbeu Korce.

Basel came from behind to beat the 10 men of Fiorentina 2-1 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The other game in Group I saw Lech Poznan held to a 0-0 draw by Belenenses.

Finally, in Group L Athletic Bilbao also came from behind to beat Bundesliga side Augsburg 3-1, while Partizan were too strong for AZ Alkmaar, running out 3-2 winners.
