Many of the Premier League's top players will be in action at Euro 2016 this summer, but who will not be involved in France?
All 24 competing nations have selected their provisional squads for the tournament, which gets underway on June 10.
However, a number of big-name players will not be on show at the Euros after failing to make the cut. Here is an XI of those missing stars at France 2016…
The Newcastle United shot-stopper misses the tournament after damaging anterior cruciate ligaments while playing for his country in a friendly with Slovakia in March.
The defender will not be competing at this summer's tournament after suffering a knee ligament injury in Chelsea's draw with Man Utd in the Premier League in February.
Belgium's captain will take no part at Euro 2016 as a result of a serious thigh problem sustained in Man City's Champions League semi-final second-leg loss at Real Madrid in May, an injury that will see the central defender sidelined for four months.
One of the more surprising omissions, Lovren has not been included in Croatia's squad after a falling out with head coach Ante Cacic. "Playing in the national team requires good form and total commitment at club and international level. We want to keep a sound atmosphere in the dressing room. I haven't closed the door on Lovren for good, he can return one day if he realises that he has to be a team player," said Cacic.
Brunt revealed that he was in tears when he told family members the news that he would not be at Euro 2016 due to injury. "It was gutting. My wife was out and I phoned her but I had to hang up," said Brunt, who ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in early March in West Brom's 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.
Such is the wealth of midfield options for Spain that Mata did not make the cut. The 28-year-old is a World Cup and European Championship winner but his form for Manchester United did not convince Vicente del Bosque.

It looked as though Welbeck would make Roy Hodgson's squad until he suffered a serious knee injury in Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Manchester City on the penultimate day of the season. He has been ruled out for nine months after undergoing surgery on his right knee.
Costa was not included in the Spain squad after a below-par season for Chelsea. He also suffered a hamstring injury during the 1-1 draw with Liverpool in May and there were doubts whether he would be fit for the tournament.
Having scored just one league goal in a season-long loan with AC Milan from Liverpool, Balotelli did not make the squad. Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci thinks his attitude has cost him. "He would have been useful to this team, but there's no time for us to be prima donnas, we have to be tanks that sacrifice themselves for their team-mates," he said.
