Saturday's international preview: England, Scotland, Northern Ireland in action

England, Scotland and Northern Ireland are all in World Cup 2018 Qualifying action on Saturday.

Gareth Southgate takes charge of his first match as caretaker manager as England host Malta at Wembley, looking to make it two wins from two in Group F.

Scotland, who beat Malta 5-1 in their opening game, are at home to Lithuania, whose head coach is former Hearts striker Edgaras Jankauskas.

The other game in the group sees Slovenia host Slovakia.

Northern Ireland will be expected to comfortably record their first win in Group C when they host San Marino.

Michael O'Neill's side drew their opener in Czech Republic but should get a warm welcome in their first home match since reaching the last 16 at Euro 2016.

Germany, who started their campaign with a 3-0 win over Norway, host Czech Republic while Azerbaijan are at home to Norway.
