England Women's goalkeeping coach Lee Kendall has flown home from the team camp in France amid the FA's investigation into his behaviour towards Eniola Aluko.
Speaking at a Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport select committee hearing yesterday, Aluko alleged that Kendall spoke to her in a mock Caribbean accent.
The FA confirmed on Thursday that they were investigating the issue, and he is not working with the squad at their game against France on Friday night.
An FA statement said: "The FA can confirm we are investigating England Women's goalkeeping coach Lee Kendall following new evidence that came to light on Wednesday alleging unacceptable behaviour towards Eniola Aluko during an England camp."
It has now emerged that Kendall has flown home, and has been replaced by Tim Dittmer, the U21's goalkeeping coach.
During her evidence yesterday, Aluko said of Kendall: "I don't think he meant it maliciously.
"I'm not Caribbean, I'm of African descent. I thought it was another example of an ignorant mindset and behaviour towards me."
The hearing took place to analyse how the FA dealt with Aluko's previous complaints about Mark Sampson, who was sacked as England Women's manager last month.
