Everton's Tom Davies has withdrawn from the England Under-21 squad for Friday's Euro 2019 qualifier in Ukraine.

The 19-year-old has pulled out due to a "minor injury", according to his club.

Davies, along with Jack Harrison, missed training on Wednesday but both were expected to be fit for the match in Kiev.

The Football Association has now announced that West Brom's England Under-20 midfielder Sam Field has been called up in Davies' place.

England U21 manager Aidy Boothroyd has already been faced with the withdrawals of Ben Chilwell, Dael Fry and Josh Onomah.
