Striker Bobby Duncan scored as England U17s drew 1-1 with Germany in the Algarve tournament on Sunday.

The 16-year-old fired in a powerful free-kick on 52 minutes - his fourth goal for the U17s since last August - before Wolfsburg's Ole Pohlmann equalised from the penalty spot nine minutes later.

Duncan, who is without a club since leaving Manchester City last year, was one of a number of impressive England performers as they improved following defeat to Portugal in their first game of the competition.

Steve Cooper's side face the Netherlands next on Tuesday.
