Chris Coleman admits he misses managing in club football but says he is fully focused on leading Wales into Euro 2016.
The former Fulham, Coventry and Real Sociedad boss will take Wales to France this summer after guiding them to their first major tournament since 1958.
Coleman, whose contract expires this summer, confirmed he is due to speak to his employers next week, but the 45-year-old hinted his future lies with Wales.
He told Sky Sports News HQ: "Anybody who has worked in a club environment, or for managers who have worked in a club environment, there is a transition into international management and I found it very difficult at the start if I'm honest with you.
"As soon as the games are finished then everyone goes back to their clubs and you are left all alone and that can be difficult. I struggled with that and I do miss the day-to-day thing.
"The problem is I am only going to manage Wales one time. It is my country and I don't see myself doing anything different for the foreseeable future.
"I have got to sit down with our president and our chief executive next week to have a discussion on the future but if I'm honest with you all I can think about this summer's tournament
"I don't put myself in the category where I can pick and choose my job. I'm like a lot of other managers and I'm in a good job now and I'm extremely proud and passionate about Wales.
"I have been given a chance to lead my country which is an honour and I don't really want to give that up."
