Declan Rice, Kevin Long and Alan Browne part of Ireland training squad

Three uncapped players are part of a Republic of Ireland training squad that has gathered in Cork ahead of their fixtures next month.

They are defenders Declan Rice and Kevin Long, who play for West Ham and Burnley respectively, and Preston midfielder Alan Browne.

The 19-man squad will train at Fota Island until May 28.

Martin O'Neill's players will be joined later by the remainder of the squad, most of whom play in the top tier of English football, before travelling to New Jersey to face Mexico in a friendly international on June 1.

They will then return for two fixtures at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, to take on Uruguay on June 4 and a World Cup qualifier against Austria seven days later.
