Robin van Persie scored an own goal during the Netherlands' defeat to the Czech Republic

Robin van Persie inadvertently heaped more misery on the Netherlands as his side lost 3-2 in their crucial European Qualifier with the Czech Republic.

The striker's own goal made it 3-0 to the Czech Republic midway through the second half, and despite a late fightback, the 3-2 defeat means the Netherlands will not be heading to Euro 2016.
