Italy winger Antonio Candreva has undergone tests after suffering a hamstring injury during the 1-0 Euro 2016 win over Sweden on Friday.
Candreva played played the full 90 minutes at Stadium de Toulouse and was even pictured leaping into the air with a Sweden jersey in his hand as Italy celebrated in front of their fans at the final whistle.
His actions suggested the injury is not serious, but the Italian Football Federation is taking no chances and the Lazio star will undergo daily tests in the coming days.
"At the end of the game with Sweden, Antonio Candreva complained of a right hamstring problem," read a statement.
"The player underwent scans and he will be evaluated on a daily basis."
Italy have already qualified for the last-16 knockout phase after wins over Belgium and Sweden and face the Republic of Ireland in their final Group E game in Lille on Wednesday.
