Did YOUR Premier League team live up to expectations this weekend?

We've asked former Arsenal defender and Sky Sports Now guest Nigel Winterburn to give each side a grade based solely on their 90-minute performance over the weekend.

So how did your team fare? Did they get an A+ or an F, or somewhere in between? Read on to see how your team has been ranked...

Premier League weekend results

  • Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
  • Chelsea 2-0 Aston Villa
  • Crystal Palace 1-3 West Ham
  • Everton 0-3 Man Utd
  • Man City 5-1 Bournemouth
  • Southampton 2-2 Leicester
  • West Brom 1-0 Sunderland
  • Watford 0-3 Arsenal
  • Newcastle 6-2 Norwich

Tottenham B

With Tottenham being the home team against a Liverpool team that are expected to beat, I think I'd grade Spurs with a B. I thought it was a solid performance by them.

Liverpool B+

From where Liverpool have been, people expected a reaction following Jurgen Klopp's appointment as manager - and they got it. It was pretty even at White Hart Lane though, with not much to separate the sides.

Chelsea B-

Chelsea have lost their way this season so far but still managed to get the win. They are not 100 percent convincing yet from where they were last season, but it was certainly an improvement, they needed the victory. They are searching for their best form but confidence is a key thing and that result will help.

Aston Villa C+

Villa are really struggling but the performance was positive, despite the fact they lost. It was a difficult game for them and they need results quickly.

Crystal Palace C

I thought aspects of the game were good for Palace but losing at home has affected my grade. Losing any player in a Premier League game is significantly going to hamper your chances and usually hands the initiative to your opponent, and it proved that way.

West Ham A-

I was very impressed by West Ham. Their away form has been sensational and Palace are a strong, energetic team at home. They made some good tactical substitutions when it looked as though they weren't going to make the breakthrough. The sending off did affect the game but so did the changes late on.

Everton C-

Everton have been playing really well this season but they were completely flat on Saturday. Obviously, the circumstances surrounding the game wouldn't have helped them but they needed to be professional and it was just a flat performance. Perhaps coming off an international break affected them as well.

Man Utd A

United were solid away from home against a good team. It was almost the perfect performance by them.

Man City A-

While City would be expected to win this game, Raheem Sterling's hat-trick combined with Wilfried Bony scoring twice is a massive positive. But, as mentioned, they were expected to win.

Manuel Pellegrini said he was pleased with Man City’s dominant performance against Bournemouth

Bournemouth C-

I really don't think Bournemouth would have expected much from their trip to the Etihad. There were a few bits of positive play so I can't mark them any lower. If they could have picked up a point then it would have been a bonus, but their home form will be what helps them to stay up this season.

Southampton B-

I thought Southampton would have gone on to win this game having gone 2-0 up. There were parts of the game where their play was good, but going on to get a point in the end has affected their grade.

Leicester B+

Leicester are showing unbelievable spirit at the moment. They have come from behind to take points from games several times and they have real good momentum now.

West Brom B

Having thrown a lead away at home against Everton, West Brom could have been a bit nervous with new Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce bringing his side to the Hawthorns. But they would have expected to win this game, considering Sunderland are bottom of the table.

Sunderland C

I suppose there were some positives for Sunderland - they were more organised - but they lost away from home again. Allardyce would have been hoping they could pick up a point to get off to a good start.

Watford B-

Watford were good for large periods, they were physical and well organised. They wasted chances during decent periods in the first half and maybe their overall quality was lacking on the day. They will be disappointed with that.

Arsenal B+

Live Ford Saturday Night Football

They didn't move the ball around quick enough in the first half going forward. But once they had scored in the second half, and Mesut Ozil found space and started to create, they did. A lot of people would have expected them to win but it was an away win that keeps the momentum going.

Newcastle B+

Newcastle were much improved but there has been snippets they could produce a performance for the entire 90 minutes, rather than 30 or 45. Steve McClaren will be delighted with the results, it gives them something to build on and it was a drastic improvement with loads of goals.

Norwich C-

At times I was encouraged by some of their play but some of the defending for the goals wasn't great. The big call was at 3-2 when they looked well in control after half time, they made substitutions and conceded two goals in quick succession. Parts of the performance were good but, conceding as many goals as they did, I can't give them much more than a C-.
